Sutera @ Mantanani Island Resort & Spa
- Kayaks are also provided and can be used free of charge. Please enquire at the front office so they can assist accordingly.
- If you wish to play volleyball, beach ball, board games, or even the trampoline, they are all free of charge. Please enquire at the front office so they can assist accordingly.
- For safety reasons, every guest is only allowed one (1) piece luggage (cabin or backpack size only) on board; otherwise a surcharge MYR 50 nett per luggage will be levied on and will be paid by the guest.
- Unused package service: No refund will be made for any shortened stay or for any part of the island activities, transfers, meals or etc booked and paid for but not utilized by the guest once the boat has depart from its place of origin.

Overview Of Tour
Enjoy the best of Kota Kinabalu's luxury resorts with the ultimate 4 days 3 nights beach vacation! Stay in two world-class resorts – Sutera Harbour Resort, a luxury 5-star resort in the heart of Kota Kinabalu city and Sutera @ Mantanani, a secluded gem on the idyllic Mantanani Island (Pulau Mantanani Besar).
Your first day is free and easy, giving you the chance to either explore the city or enjoy the resort facilities - relaxing by the pool or sipping cocktails at the Horizon Sky Bar. You will then make your way to Mantanani Island on Day 2, where you will be greeted by clear turquoise waters perfect for sunbathing, snorkelling and other complimentary sea activities. There's no better way to unwind than an overnight escapade on this private and tranquil island.
Upon your return to Sutera Harbour Resort on Day 3, you will enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise onboard Sabah's premier dinner cruise, North Borneo Cruises, complete with international cuisine served buffet and live band entertainment. Enjoy your Sabah beach holiday in style!
Sample Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive in Kota Kinabalu / Check In to Sutera Harbour Resort
- Touch down at Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Your Sabah adventure begins here!
- Transfer to Kota Kinabalu where you will check in to your room at Sutera Harbour Resort.
- After checking in to the resort, feel free to explore the sights and sounds of the buzzing Kota Kinabalu city and nightlife.
- It’s time for a good night’s rest to re-energise for more adventures tomorrow!
DAY 2 Transfer to Sutera @ Mantanani / Explore Mantanani Island
- 10:50 Hrs Meet at The Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort's main lobby.
- 11:30 Hrs Depart from The Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort main lobby to Sutera Mantanani Jetty, Kota Belud.
- 13:45 Hrs Arrive at Sutera Mantanani Jetty, Kota Belud. You will need to fill up a liability form, and the resort's Guest Services Associate will conduct a briefing before departing for Mantanani Island.
- 14:15 Hrs Start your journey to Mantanani Island by boat from Rampayan Jetty, which takes around 30 to 45 minutes (subject to weather conditions).
- 15:00 Hrs Upon arrival at the resort, proceed to Front Office for registration and attend to luggage storage.
- 15:30 Hrs After checking in, you are free to spend the time at your leisure. You may walk around for photo-taking or participate in activities around the island, including snorkelling, kayaking, and other non-motorised activities.
- 17:00 Hrs Sunset walk starts now, where you will be taken to the best sunset spots on the island for a view to remember.
- 19:00 Hrs After a long-fruitful day, you will be pampered with a delicious dinner at the restaurant.
- 20:30 Hrs Head over to the beach for your Blue Tears excursion, where you will see the bioluminescent Blue Plankton (the activity is seasonal, from the start of March until the end of July).
- Back to the resort and have a good night's rest.
DAY 3 Transfer from Mantanani Island / Check In to Sutera Harbour Resort / North Borneo Cruises
- 07:00 Hrs Refreshen yourself, start a new day with a good breakfast. After that free and easy at your free time or you can join any available sea activities (own expenses).
- 09:00 Hrs Gear up for boat snorkelling sessions conducted by resort's in-house snorkelling guide. Observe the beautiful ocean fish & corals underwater.
- 11:30 Hrs Check-Out.
- 13:00 Hrs Time to say goodbye and proceed to return to Sutera Mantanani Jetty by boat.
- 13:45 Hrs Arrived Sutera Mantanani Jetty and proceed back to Sutera Harbour Resort.
- 15:45 Hrs Upon reaching back to Sutera Harbour Resort, freshen up and relax for the afternoon.
- In the evening, proceed to Sutera Marina Jetty. Get ready to become acquainted with the charms of Kota Kinabalu on a whole new level!
- 17:30 Hrs All aboard! Your evening unfolds along the sultry sun-tinged South China Sea, cruising past the islands and water villages that dot Sabah's west coast.
- You are free to wander around the vessel. Panoramic ocean views, the warmth of the setting sun and gentle sea breeze grace the upper deck while a live band serenades the ethnic-themed air-conditioned restaurant below with acoustic favourites.
- 17:40 Hrs Dinner will be served. It's time to sink your teeth into Sabah's most sought-after culinary experience.
- As the sun sets and the stars come out, Kota Kinabalu's coastline comes alive with dazzling city night lights. North Borneo Cruises will glide across the Waterfront as you indulge in the food and the views.
- 19:30 Hrs Your rendezvous at sea comes to an end. You will disembark from the cruise at the Sutera Marina Jetty.
- Thereafter, feel free to visit the Horizon Skybar (at Pacific Sutera Resort) or head into town for your second round as you enjoy your last evening in Kota Kinabalu!
DAY 4 Check Out from Sutera Harbour Resort / Depart from Kota Kinabalu
- After breakfast, check out of your room and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your flight home or onwards to your next destination!

Travel Tips
- Your belongings may get wet. You can bring along waterproof bags such as dry bags or plastic bags to keep your belongings nice and dry!
- Before going out for some fun in the sun, you may bring along some SPF50 sunscreen and an umbrella to protect your skin.
- For any Island tour, if there is any extra water sports you opt to add on to your tour (ie banana boat, seawalking, parasailing, etc), be sure to bring along a little bit of extra cash as these activities are not included in our tour package.

North Borneo Cruises
The following Terms and Conditions are to be strictly adhered to by Guests.
General Notes
- Guests are to arrive at Sutera Marina Jetty at least 15 minutes prior to cruise departure.
- No outside food and beverages (including Tarap and Durian) are allowed onboard the North Borneo Cruises. There will be a corkage fee applicable for outside beverages.
- Due to dim lights, please mind your step when walking along the jetty at night.
- Smoking is strictly limited to the designated area outside the restaurant. Please do not throw cigarette butts, matches, or cigar ends over the side of the ship.
- Please pay attention to the safety briefing and announcements made by the crew for a seamless cruise experience.
- Consumption of drugs or contraband or conducting of any illegal activity onboard North Borneo Cruises is strictly prohibited. North Borneo Cruises shall hold no responsibility or liability for any guests who participates in such activities.
- All guests are required to behave in a respectful manner to the Cruise Captain and all members of the Crew and Cruise Attendants and other guests. Should any passenger display unruly or violent behavior to anyone onboard North Borneo Cruises, the Operator reserves the right to involve the authorities once cruise has reached mainland.
- In any situation regarding the safety of the vessel and its passengers, the Cruise Captain holds full authority to make the final decision.
- The Operator/Cruise Captain reserves the right to refuse any passenger to board if they are displaying unruly behavior under the influence of alcohol or drugs, without any refund.
- Any damages or loss to equipment onboard or the cruise due to negligence or unruly behavior must be replaced or repaired by the passenger responsible.
- North Borneo Cruises will not be liable for any injury received by passengers that are caused due to negligence or unruly or violent behavior onboard.
- Children (11 years and below) are to be supervised by an adult at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants is not responsible or liable for them.
- Passengers with disabilities must be accompanied by a carer at all times. North Borneo Cruises crew and cruise attendants will take reasonable care in bringing them onboard, but is not responsible or liable for their movement while onboard.
- We will require your passport/MYKAD number for registration.
